The New Premises On Bournville Green Will Be The Refurbished Lloyds Bank 29 Sycamore Road.

Established in 1906 The Cadbury Dental Practice is the oldest known Dental practice in the Country. Over the last 26 years it has steadily grown and now provides almost all of the NHS dentistry in Bournville.

Some years ago we decided that to develop and protect our service we needed to relocate to larger prem-ises. After much hard work the 29 Sycamore Road Site has been identified , planning consents have been obtained and the lease has now been finalised.

The second phase which is the building works to remodel the interior is expected to begin in the new year.

During relocation both sites will be able to run almost simultane-ously. This should minimise any inter-ruption in our service. However we do expect a two week transitional period to allow for staff training and provid-ing some welcome events. An emer-gency service will operate from the Bennett’s Hill Practice In Birming-ham City centre.

We will provide more details of the exact dates closer to the time. In the meantime please see below re-garding checking that your contact details are up to date.

We will keep you informed by waiting room posters, Social media, emails and extra information when you receive your recall reminders .

You don’t have to do anything. Registration will be automatically trans-ferred to the new premises. Information will be provided as the project progresses and if you have any questions the reception team are al-ways available to assist. The practice opening times will be similar to the current situation. Street parking can be busy at school times and we anticipate that adjacent shoppers car-park behind Sycamore Road will be practical for car users. Bicycle parking is available on the Parade.
